My First Act: Born in Buenos Aires Argentina in 1952. Immigrated to the US, then Israel and ultimately to Canada by the age of 16. Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Organizational behaviour at the University of Waterloo by 1980. 

My Second Act: Had a successful career in the high technology business with giants Univac, Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems (8 years with Sun in Palo Alto California) as well as a couple of entrepreneurial high growth companies in international sales and marketing executive positions. Stepping down from the corporate roles in 2002, as a single Dad, choosing to be home with my daughters instead of mostly  being on the road. Launched a new career in 2004 as a TEC Canada Chairman of multiple CEO and VP peer groups here in Ottawa, entering my 20th year in the most rewarding professional stage of my life. Also ramped up an executive coaching practice and a public speaking business.

My Third Act: In December 2018 I had a bad fall, luckily a concussion that is now gone and has no residual effects. However, it marked a point that I call the beginning of my Third Act. I dropped all non TEC Canada Chairing activities, reducing my work time to less than 34 weeks a year, doing what I loved most and making room for my dream of creating and launching Carlos Fox Photography. 

My Photography: I am a citizen of the world, I enjoy and treasure the diversity of landscapes, cultures, people, foods and experiences around the globe. My photography is all about sharing the privilege I have of been able to travel to so many amazing places in over 40 countries.
I believe we are all CEOs of our own lives and create our own reality. Capturing the beauty and the human experience is both uplifting and humbling. I hope my photographs in some way inspire, provoke, educate, raise awareness or just give you a feel good moment with a smile.
